KAOS
Is the world crumbling or is Instagram’s algorithm making us believe that. Regardless, we are in a state of global chaos. Things seem worse than usual… but don’t they every year?
VIN + OMI slide into chaos quite easily. We’re more organised chaos, but still chaos. We work in many different ways. Fashion, Film, Fun, Research, Politics, Science, Campaigning, Environmental support, Lobbying, Eco design, Town
Planning and helping change a wide range of industries that they can do things better… so, we work in organised chaos.
This collection is a mash-up of a lot of processes and new breakthroughs. The star of the show is a new fabric made from waste milk cartons from King Charles’ Sandringham Estate. This is the outcome of our most recent project and as part of our ongoing collaboration with King Charles III.
The milk carton fabric forms a spongy, leather like, textile. A new fabric for the fashion and design industries to play with. Recycled neoprene fabric made from discarded wetsuits from Team GB, The Royal Navy and UK surf schools has been refashioned into couture dresses.
Plant waste from Sandringham and UK estates has been transformed into nettle, butterbur and wood chipping outfits.
Recycled garments, destined for landfill, will be mixed with our eco latex and microfiber bonded recycled ocean plastic. Metal fabric made from waste cans mixed with seaweed fabric in a chaotic, creative mess. KAOS will also feature waste materials from the show venue, The Other House; linen crockery and even waste furniture and fittings are used on the catwalk. Our guest models for this show are Bake Offs Prue Leith, journalist Jane Moore (Loose Women and I’m A Celebrity GMOH), Rock n Roll’s Jo Wood and Naomi Heaton, The Other House’s CEO and London’s hottest property pioneer.

She has built a reputation as one to watch in the world of fashion and hair, She is Guest Artist and educator to the R+Co family.

THE OTHER HOUSE
VIN + OMI are the creative sustainable ambassadors for The Other
House. The Other House is known for its beautifully designed Club
Flats and chic spaces to eat and drink, and exclusive access to a
Private Club. TOH guests can stay for a day or a year.
The Other House South Kensington will soon be joined by The
Other House Covent Garden and Belgravia. VIN + OMI continue
their partnership with the hotel group with new creative and
sustainable projects
JÄGERMEISTER
Made from the 56 natural ingredients made from the highest-grade
herbs, roots, blossoms and spices from around the globe. The full
ingredient list is a closely guarded secret.
Jägermeister have partnered with VIN + OMI for over 10 years now,
supporting our groundbreaking sustainability and shows. Our new
global documentary series The Other Side further enhances the
partnership... coming to a streaming service soon.
DALER-ROWNEY
For almost 240 years Daler-Rowney have manufactured some of
the finest art materials. They aim to provide the space for everyone
to be creative in a way that is inspiring, accessible, inclusive, and
innovative.
D-R have supported VIN + OMI for the last 10 years. Supporting
shows and special eco projects. This has included recycling waste
from D-R into catwalk ready textiles and film and educational
projects with UK universities
R+Co
VIN + OMI are pleased to partner with R & Co for KAOS.
R+Co is a collective of some of the most forward-thinking, rulebending
hairstylists in the business. They are a think tank of top
editorial and salon stylists and educators
