National Museums Scotland commissioned VIN + OMI to produce their contemporary version of a little black dress for their exhibition, Beyond The Little Black Dress, curated by Georgina Ripley
The dress was made from nettles and horse hair from King Charles’ Highgrove residence and organic linen from VIN + OMI’s flax fields were combined to make this dress which was dyed with oak gauls and black walnut. The wording ‘RESIST” was a current reference to the state of uprising in many countries and the general feeling of rebellion among the young people that work with VIN + OMI
